Rockin’ Round Gresham with a Spectular Car Show

The old adage is still true. Americans have an ongoing love affair with the automobile. That couldn’t be more apparent than in the annual Rockin’ Round the Block Car show hosted by Northwest Motorsports Association in historic downtown Gresham, Saturday, August 9, 8am to 7pm.

The event is packed with fun for the entire family including everything from a parade and old fashioned street cruise to vendor booths and a, new this year, free KidsZone Playland.

Schedule of Activities:
Friday, Aug. 8, 7pm
Historic Bed Races (Main Street-downtown Gresham)
Saturday, Aug. 9, 8am to 7pm
Car Registration-8am to 3pm (4th and Main)
Main Street Parade-10am
Show ‘n Shine (all day)
Live Music with Ron Ruedi and the Hurricanes
Free KidsZone Playland -10am to 3:30pm
Vendor booths and fabulous food
Engine Blow 4pm
Awards and Trophy Presentation-4:30pm
Saturday Night Cruise down Main Street-6pm

Pre-registration form is available here (carshowregistrationform), and it is also available at the Chevy Store, Latus Motors, Thrifty Auto Supply and the Gresham Chamber of Commerce. Cost is $10 for pre-registration (if received by July 15) and $15 registration fee the day of event.
This is an open event to all makes and models of vehicles including motorcycles. Proceeds benefit the Mount Hood Community College Automotive Scholarship Fund. This event has raised more than $92,000 in the past ten years.
